321SS Braided Metal Hose Assembly – 304SS Sch.40 Male NPT x Male NPT
From $58.04
321SS corrugated metal hose with a single 304SS braid and welded 304SS Schedule 40 male NPT connections. Configure 0.50–2.00 in. hose ID with standard online overall lengths from 12.00–72.00 in.; longer lengths require RFQ and engineering review.
Description
The 321SS braided metal hose assembly with 304SS Schedule 40 male NPT connections is a configurable flexible connector for industrial and mechanical piping applications. The assembly combines a 321 stainless steel corrugated hose core, a single 304 stainless steel braid, and welded 304 stainless steel male NPT end fittings. Select the required hose ID and overall length on this page; each configuration is reviewed before fabrication or shipment.
Key Features
- 321 stainless steel annular corrugated hose core
- Single-layer 304 stainless steel braid
- 304 stainless steel Schedule 40 male NPT connections on both ends
- Welded hose-to-fitting terminations
- Online hose IDs: 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, and 2.00 in.; larger threaded sizes require RFQ.
- Standard online overall lengths: 12.00 in. through 72.00 in.; longer lengths require RFQ and engineering review.
- All-stainless wetted flow path, subject to media compatibility review
Applications
Common applications include equipment connections, vibration isolation, minor alignment accommodation, pump and chiller piping, boiler and condensate service, compressed-air piping, water and glycol systems, and general industrial fluid transfer. The assembly must not be used as a substitute for required pipe supports, anchors, guides, or an engineered expansion joint.
Materials & Construction
- Hose: 321 stainless steel corrugated metal hose
- Braid: 304 stainless steel, single layer
- End A: 304 stainless steel Schedule 40 male NPT
- End B: 304 stainless steel Schedule 40 male NPT
- Construction: welded hose terminations
The male NPT connections are intended for compatible tapered pipe-thread systems. Confirm thread form, mating component material, sealing method, galvanic compatibility, and installation torque for the application.
Pressure, Temperature & Movement Review
Allowable pressure and temperature depend on hose ID, braid construction, fitting design, operating temperature, media, movement, bend radius, cycle requirements, and installation geometry. Do not select this assembly from nominal pipe size or flange class alone. Submit design pressure, operating temperature, media, movement, routing, and applicable code requirements when the service is critical or outside normal mechanical-piping conditions.
Published website values and preliminary calculators do not constitute a certified pressure rating, code-compliance determination, or engineered system approval. Written application-specific confirmation is available through the RFQ process.
Ordering Notes
- Select Hose ID and Overall Length above.
- Overall length is measured end-to-end unless otherwise stated in the accepted quotation or drawing.
- Confirm sufficient live length and bend radius; do not install the assembly in torsion.
- Provide quantity, pressure, temperature, media, movement, installation geometry, and drawings when available.
- Double braid, alternate fittings, longer lengths, testing, tagging, and submittal documentation require written review.
- Availability, lead time, freight, and production release are confirmed during order review.
