Description

The 321SS Double-Braided Metal Hose Assembly – 150# Flange x 150# Flange is designed for flanged industrial and mechanical piping systems requiring vibration isolation, controlled movement, or flexible equipment connections. The 321 stainless steel corrugated hose is reinforced with double 304 stainless steel braid.

Applications

Typical uses include pump connectors, heat exchangers, chillers, packaged equipment, HVAC and hydronic piping, and compatible process-piping service. Steam service is not the default application path for this Class 150 product; use the approved double-braid Class 300/600 steam path or submit the operating conditions for engineering review.

Engineering Review

Class 150 identifies the flange class; it is not the direct PSI rating of the completed metal-hose assembly. Final suitability depends on hose ID, validated working-pressure data, temperature, media, movement, minimum bend radius, flange material, support conditions, and installation geometry. Flanges must be aligned without forcing the hose into torsion.

Select hose ID and overall length. Every order is reviewed before fabrication. Alternate flange materials, Class 300 flanges, 316 stainless construction, pressure testing, tagging, material certificates, and documentation packages are available through RFQ.
