321SS Braided Metal Hose – 150# Female NPT Union Ends
From $24.99
321SS corrugated metal hose with 304SS single braid and carbon steel Female NPT union ends. Configure 0.50–2.00 in. hose ID and select a published overall length online. Larger threaded sizes require RFQ and engineering review.
Description
The 321SS braided metal hose with Female NPT union ends is a serviceable threaded assembly built from 321 stainless steel corrugated hose, 304 stainless steel single braid, and carbon steel Female NPT union fittings on both ends. The union-style connections allow the fitting nuts to be made up without intentionally rotating the flexible hose body during normal installation and removal.
Configuration
- Hose material: 321 stainless steel
- Braid: 304 stainless steel, single braid
- End connection A: 150# Female NPT Union
- End connection B: 150# Female NPT Union
- Fitting material: Carbon steel
- Online hose IDs: 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, and 2.00 in.
- RFQ-only threaded sizes: 2.50 and 3.00 in.; application and fitting availability require engineering review.
- Overall length: Select from the published Overall Length options shown above.
Applications
This product family is intended for threaded piping and equipment connections where removable union ends are useful for installation or service. Typical project uses may include mechanical equipment, pumps, filters, skids, air/water service, and other industrial piping applications compatible with the selected assembly materials and operating conditions.
Installation Considerations
Corrugated metal hose should not be intentionally twisted during installation. Align the piping and fittings so the assembly is not forced into torsion, over-bent, compressed, stretched, or installed below the applicable bend-radius requirement. Use the union connections as designed and support connected piping independently where required by the system.
Pressure, Temperature & Application Review
Do not treat “150#” in the fitting description as a direct PSI rating for the complete hose assembly. Allowable operating conditions depend on hose size, braid construction, fitting design, operating temperature, media, movement, bend radius, cycle requirements, and installation geometry.
Displayed prices and selectable configurations do not constitute a certified pressure rating, code-compliance determination, or engineered system approval. Submit the operating conditions when the service is critical or when the required rating is not explicitly provided in controlled technical data.
Testing & Documentation
Testing, tagging, material documentation, and written reports are supplied only when included in the accepted quotation or order requirements. State MTR, test-report, tagging, submittal, or other documentation requirements before production release.
Ordering Notes
Select the supported hose ID and overall length above. Select one of the published Overall Length options shown above. Every configured order remains subject to the existing engineering and commercial review process before fabrication.
For stainless union fittings, different end connections, application-dependent service, or a configuration outside the supported online range, submit an engineering RFQ.
