321SS Braided Metal Hose – Female 37° JIC Swivel Ends
From $59.99
321SS/304SS single-braided metal hose with carbon steel female 37-degree JIC swivel ends. Select a published hose ID and overall-length combination online.
Description
For fuel, lube oil, hydraulic supply, and instrumentation lines, the 37° flare JIC connection is the standard – and unlike tapered pipe threads, it seals metal-to-metal on the flare cone without sealant, and it can be broken and remade repeatedly without degrading. This assembly terminates 321 stainless steel corrugated hose and 304 stainless braid in carbon steel female 37° JIC swivel nuts per SAE J514, giving you a flexible metal connection that installs like a hydraulic hose but carries the temperature capability and permeation resistance of an all-metal flow path. That combination matters on generator fuel lines, burner trains, compressor lube circuits, and anywhere elastomeric hose is disqualified by temperature, fire exposure, or media compatibility. Published size and overall-length combinations shown above are the current online options. Unlisted or longer lengths require RFQ and engineering review.
Key Features
- Female 37° JIC swivel ends per SAE J514 – metal-to-metal flare seal, no sealant
- Swivel nuts allow connection without twisting the hose
- Reusable connection – break and remake without seal degradation
- 321 stainless corrugated hose, 304 stainless single braid – all-metal flow path
- Five stocked sizes; overall lengths 12″–96″
- Suited to fuel, lube, and thermal services that disqualify elastomeric hose
Applications
Generator and boiler fuel oil lines, day tank connections, burner gas trains (verify code), compressor and turbine lube oil circuits, hydraulic supply and return, and instrumentation impulse lines. Common in power generation, marine, and OEM equipment packages. Typical media: diesel and fuel oils, lube oils, hydraulic fluids, fuel gas, and compatible chemicals.
Materials & Construction
Hose: 321 stainless steel, annular corrugated. Braid: 304 stainless steel, single layer. Ends: carbon steel female 37° JIC swivel nuts, flare per SAE J514. Welded terminations.
Pressure, Temperature & Application Review
Allowable pressure and temperature depend on hose size, braid construction, fitting design, operating temperature, media, movement, bend radius, cycle requirements, and installation geometry. Do not select this assembly from nominal size or connection type alone. Submit the design conditions when the service is critical or outside normal mechanical-piping conditions.
Displayed prices and selectable configurations do not constitute a certified pressure rating, code-compliance determination, or engineered system approval.
Testing & Documentation
Testing, tagging, material documentation, and written reports are available only when included in the accepted quotation or order acknowledgment. State all testing and documentation requirements before production release.
Ordering Notes
Select size and overall length, measured across the assembly including swivel nuts. Torque JIC nuts to SAE-recommended values – do not use thread sealant on flare seats. For male JIC, ORFS, or stainless fittings, request a custom quote. All assemblies are made to order; published ratings apply at
70°F and derate with temperature. Applications outside published ratings require
engineering review before order – request a custom quote and our engineering team will
respond with a certified configuration.
