321SS Braided Metal Hose – 304SS 150# Fixed Plate Flanges

From $186.97

321SS corrugated hose with 304SS single braid and 304SS Class 150 fixed plate flanges. Configure 2.00–4.00 in. hose ID and select a published overall length online; 6.00–12.00 in. require RFQ and pricing/application review.

Description

When the environment or the medium attacks carbon steel – coastal plants, chemical exposure, washdown areas, treated water with aggressive chemistry – the flange is usually the first casualty on a standard flexible connector. This assembly eliminates that weak point by building the entire assembly in stainless: 321 stainless corrugated hose, 304 stainless braid, and 304 stainless 150# fixed plate flanges. Fixed (welded) flanges provide a rigid, repeatable bolt interface preferred where the mating flange orientation is known and the assembly will be torqued to a fixed pattern, such as OEM equipment packages built in a fixture. Eight sizes are stocked in overall lengths from 9 to 30 inches. For fixed-one-end/floating-other configurations or flat-face variants, see the related families below – the Quick Ship program stocks the common flange styles so the right corrosion package is a menu selection rather than an engineering exercise.

Key Features

  • Every pressure-boundary component stainless: 321 hose, 304 braid, 304 flanges
  • Fixed plate flanges welded square for repeatable fixture assembly
  • Class 150 bolt pattern per ASME B16.5
  • Eight stocked sizes; overall lengths 9″–30″
  • Suited to corrosive atmospheres, washdown zones, and aggressive media
  • Welded construction with hydrostatic test certification available

Applications

Chemical processing, wastewater treatment, coastal and marine installations, food and beverage utility piping, pharmaceutical utility loops, and any flanged connection where carbon steel corrodes. Typical media: treated and demineralized water, chemical solutions compatible with 300-series stainless, washdown-exposed services, and glycols.

Materials & Construction

Hose: 321 stainless steel, annular corrugated. Braid: 304 stainless steel, single layer. Flanges: 304 stainless steel fixed plate flanges, Class 150 drilling per ASME B16.5. Fully welded.

Pressure, Temperature & Application Review

Allowable pressure and temperature depend on hose size, braid construction, fitting design, operating temperature, media, movement, bend radius, cycle requirements, and installation geometry. Do not select this assembly from nominal size or flange class alone. Submit the design conditions when the service is critical or outside normal mechanical-piping conditions.

Displayed prices and selectable configurations do not constitute a certified pressure rating, code-compliance determination, or engineered system approval.

Testing & Documentation

Testing, tagging, material documentation, and written reports are available only when included in the accepted quotation or order acknowledgment. State all testing and documentation requirements before production release.

Ordering Notes

Select size and overall length (flange face to flange face). Because flanges are fixed, confirm bolt-hole orientation requirements at order if the assembly will be installed between two fixed mating flanges. Floating-flange variants are stocked as separate families. All assemblies are made to order; published ratings apply at
70°F and derate with temperature. Applications outside published ratings require
engineering review before order – request a custom quote and our engineering team will
respond with a certified configuration.
